OUR SERVICES

Every pet receives the highest standard of veterinary care

The Mewes provide a huge range of diagnoses, clinics, surgery and aftercare. So if your pet ever needs to visit us, our fantastic and expert team are here to help.

All of our vets and nurses are pet owners themselves, so we know what your pet means to you. It’s our ‘Treating Pets As Friends’ philosophy that our clients love.

Treatments & surgery

We have a wealth of experience performing operations on animals of all sizes. Our vet surgeons and nurses are all highly trained, with two state-of-the-art operating theatres at their disposal.

Whether it’s a routine neutering or a more serious procedure, you can rest assured they’re in the safest hands. We also offer a range of treatments, including flea and worming treatment.

Nurse clinics

Our highly skilled and friendly nurses offer one-to-one clinics where you can discuss your pet care concerns and receive their honest, expert advice.

The huge range available includes; Cat only clinics, Dental checkups, Diet & weight management, Grooming advice, Mobility clinics, Post-operative checkups, Puppy parties, Rabbit care advice, Renal clinic, Thyroid clinic and Wound care.

We also have Life Begins At 7 Club, which provides specially designed check-ups for older pets.

Consultations & diagnosis

Our general consultations let us keep your pet’s health on track. We're never rushed, and the vet will always do everything they can to make your pet feel comfortable during their visit.

Our appointments are always 15 minutes long, so we can take our time to thoroughly examine your pet and address all of their needs, as well as any concerns you may have.

Vaccinations & microchips

All pets require vaccinations and annual boosters to build immunity against preventable infectious diseases. Our experts will make sure your pet receives the right vaccinations in a caring, friendly professional environment.

Since 2016, all dogs in the UK must be microchipped by law. We also recommend that other pets have a microchip, so if they ever get lost, you can quickly be reunited with them.
