Our focus is on providing a great GP service.
We prioritise care of each other, second only to care of our patients.
We practise ISFM principles and kindness first in all things.
We have a one-pet-one-vet policy, meaning that each vet is positively encouraged to follow through their own cases long term. This extends to our consulting nurses as well.
We encourage our RVNs to perform all procedures that they are trained for, including scale & polishing, radiography, blood sampling, cannulation and lab work. The nurses are actively involved in creating care plans and pain scoring.
The nurses run a variety of clinics including weight, renal, mobility, hyperthyroid & hypothyroid all in support of the vet, client and patient and we will be developing more, ideas and input welcome.
We have a pet care plan with at least 60% of our active clients signed up.
We are a training practice with a very high level of success in assisting our students to pass exams and to qualify. Many subsequently become employees.
We have a team of people who are well motivated and happy, despite the pandemic. Many of our staff are extremely long-serving. We encourage each team member to be the best they can be, and to follow their own dreams and goals.
We have won multiple awards for our customer service, including Top 25 Best UK Vets in 2019 and 2020, and Best in West Sussex this year.
We intend to stay independent for at least the next decade.
