2022 calendar competition

Calling all pet owners!

We want your best portraits of your wonderful pets for our Mewes Vets 2022 calendar. It will be packed with the winners of our supermodel competition, and sold in aid of Rogers Wildlife Rescue.

Roger and Fleur Musselle run Roger’s Wildlife Rescue from their home locally. It is an entirely voluntary organisation, funded by donations from members of the public and membership income.

Roger has cared for injured wildlife all his life and from this Roger’s Wildlife Rescue has grown. Now they care for around 2000 creatures each year and release as many as possible back to the wild.

A large number of the creatures they care for are injured – small birds are prey for cats and sparrowhawks. Larger birds like herring gulls, and animals like foxes and hedgehogs, are often victims of road accidents. Other creatures can become entangled in garden netting or, horrifyingly, are victims of human cruelty. At Roger’s Wildlife Rescue they work closely with vets to help mend and treat these creatures and rehabilitate them successfully.

To support their work, we would like you to enter our free of charge competition. There will be loads of great prizes for your pet, awarded at our Christmas party on Saturday 4th December.

We do love a themed image, such as one for a pet Hallowe’en, Valentine or Christmas shot, prizes are awarded for each pet chosen per month of the year.

For more information about the competition go to:  Calendar Competition

To enter forward your best image to mewescompetition@gmail.com together with your full name and your pet’s name. Remember that there is no charge for entries, and that you will be supporting a wonderful and important animal cause.
