Haywards Heath Town Day Dog Show

Haywards Heath Town Day is scheduled for Saturday September 11th in Victoria Park.

And we will be back in action with our fun dog show.

It has been two years since our last opportunity to meet lots of local canine friends, and send as many as possible home with a lovely rosette. We cannot wait to get out there again.

The dog show judging kicks off at 12.30.

As usual, you need to pre-book. This year we are adding the option to do this on-line before the event, to reduce crowding around the stand, making it safer for everyone.

To book online go to:

Alternatively, you can still just come along on the day, and join in, but we recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes early to register which classes you would like to be included in.

On the day registration will start at midday.

For a full list of the classes open to your best friend, go to our website: https://themewesvets.co.uk/events/post/40/haywards-heath-town-day-dog-show/.

It is always really hard to judge all the gorgeous dogs in a show. One of my favourite classes is ‘Waggiest Tail’. I’m just grateful that none of my team have videoed the antics I get up to to encourage lots of wagging from the competitors on the day. Those that twerk are nothing on me.

I always have a soft spot for the ‘Best Rescue’ class. Hearing the special stories and how much love those rescues are now enjoying can be very moving.

And for ‘Child’s Best Friend’ I will be on the look-out for the child-dog combination that are most in tune with each other, and who clearly have a strong bond and understanding.

Entering a fun dog show is such a good experience, both for your pet, and for the whole family. After all this time of distancing and apartness, it will be a really special opportunity for them all to socialise safely, and meet new friends.

Do come along on the day, and meet up with my team and I to enjoy a glorious celebration of our freedom, and all that’s best about our canine companions.
